I can’t believe this is my 17th week doing Thursday Obsessions! Seems like time is going way too fast. I’m so happy (and excited) each week, when the linkup grows. You girls are amazing! I have a lot of resolutions this year with my blog, and it looks like things are off to a good start. Keep the linkups coming! I’m going to start pinning them on a special Pinterest board. Hope you girls get some exposure from that.
Plus in celebration of the 17th new linkup and the new year, I have a special co-host today. Please give a warm welcome to Shary. She blogs over at Shary Loves You. Be sure to head over and give her some love!
“I’m Shary: a laid back mom with one gorgeous daughter and one handsome man by my side. We’re a totally crazy bunch with a lot we should be worrying about. Instead we cook, craft, and play to make the most of each day. We simply enjoy each other and make the most of what we have. Stop by and say hello!”
Want to co-host too? Email me at Gluedtomycrafts@yahoo.com to get yourself squared away.
Now on to the obsessions!
Obsessively Loving– Frozen bananas covered in chocolate, then rolled in coconut. Sounds good, right? Yup, I ate them all. BY MYSELF. So because I have lots of walking to do to work those off, I love also love my leopard print shoes. They are my go-to shoes right now. Surprisingly they are comfy.
Obsessively Reading-Nothing. I admit it. I just like to pick up books with pretty covers and let them sit on the nightstand. I really wish I had more hours in the day so I could read.
Obsessively Watching– Pretty Little Liars. I had to watch the marathon on ABC family to be all caught up for the premier the other day. I admit it, I like shows like that. And oh, Dance Moms too. I needed to see what happened if the moms had a “stand off.”
Obsessively Anticipating- The weekend. The holidays pretty much threw my schedule way off. I could use my husband home for a day (or two) so I can play catch up. Him and the lil man can play & I can craft ;)
Obsessively Listening- Giggles. As I write this, hubby is giving the lil man a bath. It melts my heart the bond they have.
Obsessively Waiting on– The end of the month. This no spending thing is hard. But I have to say, I’m pretty proud of myself. Went to Walmart the other day and only bought food. (WTF? a cart of veggies, fish & fruit, $100!) It was hard resisting some things, but I did it. Now just have to wait patiently for Feb. 1st to come so I can go back & buy those things! HA.
Obsessively Wishing- Feb 1st to hurry up, but then my son not to turn 2. Here come the tears!
Obsessively Needing– Nothing. Least that’s what I keep telling myself. Shockingly, eating veggies just makes me want to eat a chocolate bar even more.
Obsessively Crafting- Valentine stuff. I have never focused this much on Valentine’s Day but Pinterest has got me all “inspired.”
Obsessively Favorite Link Up From Last Week- Came from Altered Artworks: She created a frame with chicken wire & burlap. I want to make one so badly. I think it would be great for my craft room. A cute place to keep all my keepsakes. Now to find some chicken wire and an old picture frame. Thank you for linking up and INSPIRING!
