A collection of crafting supplies for a fireworks kid craft: white foam cups, Crayola washable fingerpaints, colorful pipe cleaners, a black marker, a paintbrush, and a foam brush—perfect for making Styrofoam Cup Fireworks.

Craft Supplies:

  • White Styrofoam Cups – 1 per craft
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Craft Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Craft Scissors

Directions:

  1. First paint your cups. Make fun designs or go for a tye-dye look. Make it your own! Once done, set aside to let it dry completely.
  2. While waiting for the paint to dry – cut your pipe cleaners down to size. I went ahead and cut each pipe cleaner in half.
  3. To finish off your styrofoam cup firework craft, flip over your cup so the bottom part is facing up.
  4. Now take your pipe cleaners and poke them into the cup. The metal in the pipe cleaners will make it easy to do that. If you have a hard time – use scissors to poke holes.
  5. And that’s it! You have a firework!
